Gamora, also known as the Most Dangerous Woman in the Galaxy, is a character and the main deuteragonist of Disney-Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. She is portrayed by main cast member Zoe Saldana.
Gamora is based on the character of the same name from the Guardians of the Galaxy comics. She also alludes to the girl the son loves from the song, "Father and Son" by Cat Stevens
History[]
Gamora is born on the planet, Zen-Whoberi to unknown parents, whom she loved very much. When she was a child, the mad-titan, Thanos slain her parents in front of Gamora and took her away from her home planet, and raised her as his daughter, alongside Nebula and several other children.

- Enhanced Durability - Gamora Can recover from any infection, wound, cut and even bruises faster in a short period of time.
- Expert Marksman - Gamora is a very Skilled assassin which means she has to have perfect aim. She was able to Precisely hit Star-lord's hand to make him drop the orb.
- Expert swordswomen: She is very skilled with her sword, she was able to amputate both of Groot's arms and use it against Nebula during the battle of xander.
- Expert Pilot:Gamora was able to fly a Mining Pod with ease while escaping Nebula.

- According to Zoe Saldana, Gamora's not entirely in love with Peter yet and is unsure of her feelings for him.
- Olivia Wilde turned down the role of Gamora.
- Rosario Dawson, Kristanna Loken, Moon Bloodgood, Gina Carano, Rachel Nichols and Adrianne Palicki all auditioned to get the role of Gamora before it went to Zoe Saldana.
- Amanda Seyfried hinted that she too, may have also turned down the role of Gamora
